The True Meaning Of Christmas
I would like to start of saying that my Nana would have made 92 years old on tomorrow. She passed away and it feels like I have an open wound that will not heal. I miss you my sweet Nana and you will always live in me. We were both Capricorn women.
Ok, so the real reason why we celebrate Christmas is to celebrate the birth of our king Jesus Christ. But, as I look around, all I see is people wanting gifts. That is NOT what this time of year is all about! It is to the point now that stores hardly recognize Thanksgiving! All I can say is that if we dont start celebrating the proper way then there is no point in celebrating at all. Our Lord gave His life in order to ave ours and we can not thank Him properly once a year. That’s crazy!
